I heard that if you have boots that are custom made from a cobbler in Austin ( that made boots for LBJ), your voice sounds better and you go on tour with Willie Nelson next year?

Thanks for the Valentine's wish and songs...I do get to "treasure my wrinkles and lines" because you gave me that chance, PPH patient for 13 years and counting, thanks for saving my life and for sharing your passion for music. Best wishes in all you do.

Larry, Elvis said that Roy Orbison was the greatest singer who ever lived, so to be even mentioned in the same breath as him is awesome! Here is one video of the song; I don't know if I can hit the high notes like I used to but I will give it a try! Merry Christmas DoRite and raise a glass to Miss Texas 214! Give Lou my love. Your new website is really neat. I am waiting for "California Blue" to make the site. Hello from Lou. We are listening to this song as I am writing this message and Lou came in and thought it was you instead of Roy Orbison!! So this song was made for you. Whenever I hear it I think of Miss Texas 214!! Have a Merry Christmas!!

Web site looks great! Enjoy your CD regularly. Ain't goin' nowhere for the holidays, so if you get near Cheatham Street Warehouse, give a holler and stop by the "ranch".

i have listened to the CD so many times but really love reading all the lyrics and knowing why you wrote each song. They are all so personal. i have a question. On Lay Me Down in London, third verse, "He met her there,
Soft golden hair,
Blazing smile and eyes caressing.
He man was gone,"
Should that last line be HER man was gone, not he man?? Beautiful lyrics. i hope she was real.
